Asuntos Jurídicos
La Oficina de Normas Internacionales y Asuntos Jurídicos presta dictámenes jurídicos centralizados e independientes a la Conferencia General, al Consejo Ejecutivo y a otros órganos intergubernamentales, incluidos los creados en virtud de las convenciones de la UNESCO, así como a la Secretaría, institutos y oficinas fuera de la Sede de la Organización alrededor del mundo. La Oficina contribuye a la acción normativa de la UNESCO y al estado de derecho, interpretando el marco jurídico de la UNESCO y ofreciendo servicios jurídicos para la implementación cotidiana de su mandato.
