Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) has a student body of approximately 17,000 students and 1,850 employees.

It has four faculties:

• Faculty of Health Sciences

• Faculty of Education and International Studies

• Faculty of Social Sciences

• Faculty of Technology, Art and Design

The Department of Vocational Teacher Education is Norway’s main provider of pedagogical disciplines in Technical and Vocational Teacher Education. The department is engaged in research and developmental activities within its subject areas and participates in both national and international research programs.

It’s vision is ‘Delivering knowledge to solve societal challenges.'
