LIVE Film Event: Five Stories of Indigenous Youth-Led Responses

LIVE Film Event: Five Stories of Indigenous Youth-Led Responses

In the wake of COVID-19, Asia Indigenous Youth Platform supported 10 indigenous youth-led projects in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, and Vietnam to respond the pandemic in their communities. This was through the AIYP COVID-19 Response Small Grants Program, which was supported by UNESCO and Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact.

During this Facebook LIVE screening, five of these projects will be presented, followed by a panel discussion with each of the project leads. Joining them will be International Youth and Media Summit, who helped them produce their films.

The event will be moderated by Barsha Lekhi, who is Miss Nepal International 2016, the UNDP GEF Small Grants Program Indigenous Youth Fellow, and one of the project grantees for this program.

The event will be broadcast on Facebook Live, but you can also register at http://bit.ly/CGF0521ZoomR
