Vranje organizes the sixth edition of its Piano Summer Festival

As a UNESCO Creative City of Music since 2020, the City of Vranje (Republic of Serbia), has identified culture and creativity as a strategic driver for sustainable urban development. As a result, the city has established dedicated funds for organizing various cultural projects that support its music and other creative sectors. Piano Summer Festival is one of the iconic events undertaken by the city that gathers classical musicians and piano music lovers from all over the world to share music, as well as inspires its inhabitants to promote peace and cooperation.

From 3 and 6 August 2021, the sixth edition of the Festival is being organized by the city in cooperation with the ‘Piano Summer’ Association under the theme ‘Don’t Stop the Music’ with free admissions to all concerts. The festival will bring together pianists from Serbia and Portugal who will perform compositions of Bach, Liszt, Beethoven, Debussy, Schubert, Piazzolla, Chopin or Ljubica Marić.
