Expert Meeting for the Revision of the Haitian Law on the Protection of Built Heritage

11-12 July 2011

The meeting will gather a team of legal experts to launch revision of the law in the framework of projects undertaken by UNESCO and its partners to make culture an essential part of the reconstruction of Haiti. The activity has been set as a key priority by the Haitian government, and will be organized with the financial support of the Spanish Funds-in-Trust for World Heritage. It is in line with projects 1 and 3 for Port-au-Prince as presented in the brochure "Haiti - Making Culture a Motor for Reconstruction".

The meeting will be held at UNESCO Headquarters, 7 Place de Fontenoy. Room VI
