Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage Annual Symposium: Heritage bridges over troubled waters - 50 years of World Heritage

1-2 November 2022
The Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage dedicates its annual symposium in 2022 to the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, looking back at past successes and future challenges, with a critical focus on heritage in conflict.

The symposium, titled "Heritage bridges over troubled waters. 50 years of World Heritage and the importance of implementation of the Second Protocol to the Hague Convention (1954) for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict", will take place in Røros 1-2 November 2022.
