24-25 February - UFN-UNESCO Conference at UNISA 'Reimagining the Futures of Higher Education towards 2050'
In preparation for the upcoming third UNESCO World Higher Education Conference, the University of the Future Network (UFN), in partnership with UNESCO, is organizing a conference hosted by the University of South Africa (UNISA) with the aim of bringing together global higher education stakeholders to rethink and reimagine the higher education of the future.
The two-day conference will be hosted virtually (online) by the University of South Africa on the 24th and 25th of February 2022, starting at 15:00 (SAST) on both days.
The focus will be on the Futures of Higher Education, one of the 10 themes that will contribute to WHEC 2022 theme on “Reinventing Higher Education for a Sustainable Future”. Entitled “Reimagining the Futures of Sustainable Higher Education Towards 2050″, the conference aims to stimulate discussions as we reimagine the futures of higher education.
Join experts such as Keri Facer, Ronald Barnett, Asha Kanwar, Duzulkifli Razak, and many more, as they debate the futures of Higher Education, with a focus on its methodologies and policies. The resulting conclusions of the meeting will be presented at The 3rd World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) in Barcelona from 18 to 20 May 2022.
