Location: Mosul, Iraq
In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, and in close consultation with the religious authorities & civil society organizations representing minority groups, this project aims at providing protection to religious sites affected by Daesh/ISIL in Iraq's liberated areas, in such ways to promote the inter-community reconciliation through the protection of cultural diversity in Iraq. Establishment of the "mapping and damage/needs assessment of the diverse religious heritage in Iraq" will be distributed and published (printed & online) to be used as a tool for comprehensive restoration.
