Bureau of the Intergovernmental Council

The IFAP Bureau consists of six Member States nominated by the governing Council and meets twice a year.
The functions of the Bureau shall include:
- appraising, selecting and approving projects to be funded by the IFAP special funds subject to the availability of resources;
- making recommendation for the organization of the work of the Council;
- ensuring the effective implementation of the resolutions of the Council;
- raising, with the collaboration of the Secretariat, extrabudgetary sources of financing for the activities of the Programme.
The Bureau is composed of a Chairperson, four Vice-Chairpersons and a Rapporteur:
