Paducah's 11th Annual River's Edge International Film Festival featured David Wilson as the esteemed Film Festival Juror representing the City of Bradford (United Kingdom), which was designated as the UCCN first UNESCO City of Film. The festival featured a film programmation from seven countries namely the United States of America, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, China and Ecuador.

The IX UCCN Annual Meeting took place in Kanazawa, Japan, from 25 to 28 May 2015. This highly successful event gathered over 150 representatives from 61 of the Network’s 69 member cities, including 17 Mayors and vice-Mayors. The International Conference 2008 on Creative Tourism was hosted by the City of Santa Fe on 28 September–2 October 2008. The conference gathered Network representatives, creative entrepreneurs, tourism professionals, and artists providing a forum for identifying economic opportunities and developing creative tourism programmes.
