Toolkit for requesting International Assistance from the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
© UNESCO

UNESCO supports the safeguarding of living heritage by providing financial and technical resources to States Parties through the International Assistance mechanism.

In this sense, a Toolkit was developed to help guide States Parties step by step through the application process.

It includes key concepts of the Convention, criteria for receiving funding, and tools to plan a project and draft a successful proposal.

The Toolkit is dedicated to all stakeholders involved in safeguarding living heritage.
