Guidelines for Regulating Digital Platforms

UNESCO is engaged in a series of consultations to develop Guidelines focusing on the structures and processes needed to ensure users have a safer and more critical interaction with online content, to simultaneously support freedom of expression and the availability of accurate and reliable information in the public sphere. The Conference will be a key moment to gain further insights from the various stakeholders to inform the Guidelines. UNESCO will be undertaking further consultations to finalize the Guidelines in the months following the conference.
