SHS MOST/GEG Seminar on "The decline of social ties – Political sociology"

The UNESCO SHS MOST/Groupe d'études géopolitiques (GEG) series of seminars on "Human Sciences and Social Transformations" aims to integrate new concepts into our analysis of the transformations of contemporary societies and the social ties that bind people together, through dialogues between academia and public policy.

This first session on “The decline of social ties – Political sociology” will examine the trend of weakening social ties and how to remedy it, thus drawing observations that will guide and introduce the following seminars. It will take place at UNESCO in Paris, in Room IX, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm (GMT +2), on 17 April 2023.
