This conference entitled "Hybrid BILT Bridging Event - TVET for Hospitality and Tourism: Solutions for the Digital and Green Transition", will be the first on-site Bridging Event of the BILT project in the Asia-Pacific region. It provides a platform for outlining trends in green and digital qualifications and competencies, with a focus on the hospitality and tourism sector.

The BILT Bridging Event for Asia and the Pacific will encourage participants to identify opportunities for collaboration within and across the BILT regions with the aim of strengthening the UNEVOC Network and the BILT community.

The conference programme will include matchmaking sessions to foster cooperation and thematic exchange among Asian TVET stakeholders and between Asian, African, and European institutions.

Keynote speeches and panel discussions will bring together policy-makers and industry partners from Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Europe. They will examine and compare global, regional and local TVET strategies and policies supporting the digital and green transformation.

On-site participants will have the opportunity to interact with practitioners from the host country and to have first-hand experience of local vocational training practices in the hospitality and tourism sector through study visits.

Online, a virtual gallery of innovative practices offers the opportunity for personal exchange with project implementers.

The BILT Expert Group on the digital and green transition in the hospitality and tourism sector will present interim results of their work. The experts from the three project regions, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe, will share innovative TVET practices that support TVET stakeholders and promote transformation in the hospitality and tourism sector.
