19 September: President Sahle-Work Zewde addresses world leaders at the Tranforming Education Summit
Her Excellency Sahle-Work Zewde, Chair of the International Commission on the Futures of Education and President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, addressed world leaders at the Transforming Education Summit on 19 September at the United Nations in New York.
In her remarks, the President drew on the Commission's report Reimagining our futures together: a new social contract for education to frame the global debate on the transformation of education.
