Hanna Schreiber is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, Department of Policy Research Methodology, University of Warsaw (Poland). She is currently the President of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Council of the Capital City of Warsaw (Poland).

As member and vice president of the Polish Intangible Cultural Heritage Board, in 2018, she headed the Working Group on Legal and Strategic Aspects of Intangible Heritage Safeguarding. With affiliations to many international and national scientific NGOs, including the Association of Folk Artists accredited to the 2003 Convention, she has authored multiple publications on Living Heritage, including on Article 18 of the Convention regarding the Register of Good Safeguarding Practices.
