Annual Conference of German World Heritage Sites

In co-operation with the German Commission for UNESCO, the German Association of World Heritage sites will organize the annual conference of German World Heritage sites. Site managers of all German World Heritage sites and also preservationists and politicians will attend the conference.

In the past, the annual conferences have addressed issues such as World Heritage education, sustainable tourism, cultural dialogue or regional development. In 2012, the 40th Anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention will be part of discussion.
