The aim of the draft law is to increase the protection of consumers and minors, to increase the transparency of the environment and legal certainty, to set uniform conditions for media market operators, and to reduce the administrative burden, in response to technological developments, the convergence of technologies and services towards the delivery of content via the Internet protocol, the expansion of the range of technological means for receiving audiovisual services in the home, social and cultural changes, the fact that children are increasingly making their own decisions about what to watch and the integration of the internal European market.
