Support to individual artists
The support provided to individual artists during the recent years is related to:
In the sphere of cinema art: supporting the script-writing projects of individual film producers, ensuring the participation of Armenian production films and individual artists in international film festivals and film markets.
In the sphere of theatre art: conducting plays through orders for creating work and by obtaining dramaturgic works, ensuring the participation of theatre companies and individuals in international theatre festivals. During the reporting period, 115 orders for creating work were fulfilled, 16 dramaturgic works were obtained, participation was ensured for 50 Armenian theatre companies and 52 individuals in international theatre festivals.
In the sphere of music: acquisition of works of music, new adaptations and instrumentations, ensuring the participation of Armenian music and dance groups and individual performers in international music festivals.
In the sphere of book publication: publication of the works of modern writers, including young and beginning writers, ensuring participation in international book exhibitions, book festivals and awards ceremonies by creating modern, competitive book products. During the reporting period, 308 works of modern writers and young and beginning writers were published, participation was ensured in 146 international book exhibitions, book festivals and awards ceremonies.
In the sphere of fine arts: organisation of individual exhibitions, participation of young artists in international biennales and exhibitions, support to innovative projects. Support was provided for the organisation of 46 individual exhibitions, for the participation of young artists in 56 international biennales, exhibitions and innovative projects, 14 works were obtained.
In the sphere of dance: fulfilment of orders for creating work, increase in the quality of modern and ethno dance, in the collection of exceptional samples of Armenian rituals found in movies and video clips, as well as manuscripts related to Armenian dance that have been preserved.
