Tuvalu ratifies the 1972 Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage

On 18 May 2023, Tuvalu deposited with the Director-General its instrument of ratification to the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (Paris, 16 November 1972).
In conformity with its Article 33, the Convention will enter into force, with respect to Tuvalu, three months after the deposit of this instrument, that is to say on 18 August 2023.
