Jinju launches the 2022 Call for Papers for the International Journal of Crafts and Folk Art
From 2 June until 31 August, Jinju, a Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art invites interested participants to submit academic papers for the third edition of the “International Journal of Crafts and Folk Arts”.
The journal, running since 2020, provides opportunities for participation to scholars from Creative Cities worldwide, who share a common interest in the field of Crafts and Folk Art, creative transmission, and more generally intangible heritage.
Interested participants can submit their materials relevant to the Crafts and Folk Art field, ranging from academic papers to short articles, news or book reviews. This year’s edition, to be published in December 2022, is focused on the theme of “convergence (creative integration) and collaboration activities between creative fields”.
The Journal aims to promote cultural diversity and sustainable urban development by sharing knowledge, experiences, and practices of Creative Cities in the field of Crafts and Folk Art, thus strengthening international cooperation between cities and helping Creative Cities develop good practices and foster their creative economy.
