Join the 2021Jinju Traditional Crafts Biennale

Jinju (Republic of Korea), a Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art, will host the 2021 Jinju Traditional Crafts Biennale, under the theme “Law of Traditional Crafts”.

The event, organized by Jinju Traditional Crafts Biennale Committee and Jinju Creative Industries Promotion Association will be held in the city from 4 to 21 November. For two weeks craft-related activities, such as international craft art exhibitions, talks, meetings and lectures will be displayed in order to attract a wide audience including 12 Creative Cities from the Network’s Crafts and Folk Art cluster, namely Jinju, Gabrovo, Tallinn, Limoges, Fabriano, Carrara, Cape Town, Chiang Mai, Sukhothai, Paducah, Kanazawa, and Porto-Novo.

Craftsmen, collectors, and artists from all over the world are therefore invited to participate in the Biennale, to contribute to the exchange of aesthetic consciousness, experiences, and good practices with the aim of providing opportunities to experience and enjoy world-class arts and crafts.

Through the organization of this ambitious event, the city of Jinju reiterates its commitment to supporting the objectives of the Network, such as strengthening the creation, production, distribution, and dissemination of cultural activities and sharing experiences, knowledge and best practices.
