Inspired by UNESCO's Roadmap against Racism and Discrimination, the two organizations will work together to address these challenges, pooling their resources and expertise to promote inclusion, diversity, and equity. The collaboration will include civil society, policy-makers, and local authorities to advance capacity-building initiatives in Italy and Europe.

Among them is a Youth Boot Camp, a week-long immersive training session to take place in the second half of 2023, based on UNESCO’s Master Classes against Racism and Discrimination and linked to the International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities – ICCAR.

Additionally, the partnership aims to establish a network of national authorities and experts to facilitate knowledge sharing and disseminate best practices. This network will be launched at the third Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination which will take place from 29 November to 1 December 2023 in São Paulo, Brazil.

As the ink dried on the agreement, the signing ceremony served as a beacon of hope, providing a new opportunity to build alliances for a more inclusive future.
