MAB Secretariat is entitled to provide support to the implementation of MAB statutory framework. It organizes all statutory bodies' meetings, prepare working documents and draft strategic documents for the decision of the MAB International Coordinating Council (MAB-ICC) and implement activities so the MAB ICC fully fulfill its mandate described in its Statutes. By providing technical assistance and policy advice, the MAB Secretariat shall support the implementation of the Lima Action Plan (2015-2025) through communication, awareness raising, production of knowledge and tools, reinforcement of capacity and skills as well as improvement of the networking framework, especially in the context of the Global agenda for biodiversity and Paris Agreement for CC,
