This activity will seek to build institutional and professional capacities in South Asia, for the implementation of 2019 UNESCO OER Recommendation to create, access, re-use, adapt and redistribute OER, as well as promotion of the 2015 MoW Recommendation concerning the identification, preservation, access to and dissemination of documentary heritage. It will support the establishment of inclusive and collaborative mechanisms and partnerships to mainstream the 2 recommendations in their strategies. Through this activity for instance MoW national Committees/expert groups and national/regional MoW registers will be created and OER/MoW awareness raising programmes will be delivered to stakeholders.
