The BARMM is an autonomous region within the Philippines. In 2019, IIEP and UNICEF Philippines executed a UN to UN Agreement on "Technical Assistance for Philippines Education Sector Plan Preparation" which covered technical support to Education Sector Plan (ESP) preparation at DepEd National and also partly the BARMM. This Project is a continuation of BARMM technical assistance (TA). UNESCO Bangkok as main responsible office, and IIEP supporting some activities. TA covers support to planners within the Ministry in leading the plan preparation. TA will be done at different points in the strategic planning process and include country missions and contributions to data analysis.
