N° du projet 2210226011

In the framework of IHP IX, the UNESCO Regional Bureau will provide support to decision- and policy-makers for a sustainable management of shared water resources and related ecosystem services in river basins, with a particular focus on transboundary ones, notably in the context of global change. The UNESCO Regional Bureau will promote Eco-hydrological and holistic approaches in SEE countries notably within the UNESCO designated sites. This will be achieved mainly through policy advice to governments, collaboration with regional commission in river basin management, support to the IHP Danube network, and capacity-building workshops or high level symposia.
