CD: Implementation of the 2030 Agenda will require equitable participation by all MS in IOC activities.The IOC Capacity development strategy (2015-2021) defined 6 outputs. Through 2022-2023 the CD strategy will be revised and aligned with the CD chapter of the UN Decade and related work plans of all IOC programmes will be prepared or updated to ensure that the Strategy outputs are addressed. TMT: Clearing House Mechanism (CHM) will further build upon the Ocean InfoHub system developed during the 2020-2021 biennium. Gender: statistics of applicants and students/lecturers participating in courses will be maintained. The GOSR will continue gathering information on strategic investments in ocean science and to identify gaps in capacity that need to be addressed to fully realize SDG 14.
