Promotion and piloting of the UNESCO Recommendation on Ethics in Artificial Intelligence in Mexico

Taking into account that Mexico has pronounced itself as an early adopter of the UNESCO AI Recommendation, the UNESCO Office in Mexico, in close collaboration with the Montevideo Office and the Bioethics section of HQ, will promote and implement the two tools of the Recommendation in Mexico. Furthermore, with relevant Mexican actors relevant case studies and material will be elaborated which can be useful for governments authorities but as well private sector and civil society organizations. Finally, focus will be laid upon the gender aspect of AI to promote and enhance women participation in AI.
