Policies and measures to promote the diversity of cultural expressions

This workplan takes in all activities implemented at Headquarters level to support the effective implementation and monitoring of the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the 1980 Recommendation concerning the Status of the Artist. It will support the good governance of the Convention at the international level through the preparation and organization of statutory meetings of its governing bodies and the management and monitoring of its mechanisms such as the International Fund for Cultural Diversity and quadrennial periodic reporting. It will also support the Committee on Conventions and Recommendations in its monitoring of the 1980 Recommendation.
