Aligned with the 2030 Agenda, The Pact for Culture to 2030 is a multi-stakeholder initiative that seeks to position culture as the axis of sustainable development through strategic alliances and mobilization of funds from the private sector, international organizations and nongovernmental organizations. This alliance is presided by the Ministry of Culture and, as a its request, UNESCO LIM heads the technical secretariat (TC). As agreed with the Ministry of Culture and members, the TS oversees the Pact of Culture Initiative Pipeline. The sustainability of the TC and the accomplishment of its functions is guaranteed by the yearly voluntary contributions of funding members.
