The program will focus on engaging civil society, duty bearers and relevant stakeholders for advocacy on freedom of expression and access to information. Moreover, government institutions, relevant ministries will be engaged to enhance gender mainstreaming at policy and institutional level to promote access to information. These components are anticipated to complement each other by creating a conducive policy environment as well as awareness raising on freedom of expression/access to information the country.
