Under the overall authority of the Director of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for the Asia and Pacific, and the direct supervision of the Head of the IOC/WESTPAC Office, the JPO will provide technical and logistic support for international programme development and implementation for the sustainable development of ocean, marine and coastal resources; and promote the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) in the region.
