The main objective of the Phase 1 (or Opening phase from now on) of the Governance and Cooperation in Transboundary Aquifers Aquifers Programme (UNESCO GCTA) is to prepare a project proposal that (i) will provide an overall framework for the implementation of 3 phases of the GCTA, over 12 years and for a total of 25.7 Million CHF, and (ii) will guide the preparation and implementation of the GCTA programme for the first 4 year.
