Charting lifelong learning journeys: Unleashing opportunities through qualifications and skills recognition

The webinar will be an opportunity to share findings and key messages from recent and forthcoming UNESCO publications, including the Global Inventory of National and Regional Qualifications Framework, a collaborative effort with Cedefop, ETF, and UIL and the Manual on the Recognition of Prior Learning.

UNESCO has long been working in the areas of qualifications and recognition of skills for prior learning, including through informal employment. The webinar will give participants the chance to exchange knowledge and experiences about initiatives connected to regional and national qualifications systems. It will also encourage communication between international and regional stakeholders working on aligning certification standards and explore methods to progress towards a global framework.

The event will appeal to experts and policy-makers working in the field of qualifications, credentials and skills recognition at national, regional and global level.
