The International Fund for the Development of Physical Education and Sport (FIDEPS) is a special account established to attract extra-budgetary contributions. The fund was established to support the work of the Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sport (CIGEPS), and the development of physical education and sport policy and programmes at an international level. In particular, FIDEPS will reinforce South-South cooperation and priortize actions related to UNESCO's global priorites (Africa and Gender Equality), as well as project implementation and programme development in situations of post-conflict.
