Under the overall authority of the Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO and the direct supervision of the Head of Marine Policy and Regional Coordination (MPR) Section, the Seconded Expert will support the work of IOC-UNESCO in relation to the implementation of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, specifically in relation to partnerships and resource mobilisation.
