Project ID 2210411022

UNESCO has renewed its commitment to the compelling agenda of combatting racism and discrimination, and has engaged to address the Global Call against Racism contained in decision 210EX/5.I.B adopted in December 2020. The Global Call requested that the Organization develops a Roadmap "to strengthen UNESCO's contribution to the fight against racism and discrimination across its field of competence", providing a strategic and operational framework to guide UNESCO's action in this important area, especially in the critical post-crisis period. The Roadmap is being developed by UNESCO in close consultation with its Members States and networks, including the International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities - ICCAR, UNESCO Chairs, NGOs, scientific communities and other partners.
