Project ID 526GLO2004

The project aims at supporting Member States' effort in achieving water security in view of the challenges they will be facing due to climate change. It seeks to first model the effects climate change will have on the country and then develop a strategy and an operational plan for engineering works that can be undertaken to enhance the resilience of the country to them. The project contains an element of strengthening the human resources capacity of the beneficiary country on the methodology used to continue the process even after UNESCO's support is provided.
