The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched the Project Amplifying Youth Voice & Action to address Citizen Security & Safety in Jamaica (AYVA). In delivery of the output "Mechanisms strengthened to enable youth participation in decision making and actions to address Citizen Security & Safety", UNESCO will support youth-led action to generate and apply knowledge to foster more inclusive and equitable development and consolidate peace. The activities will seek to enhance the capacity of youth and empower them to conduct their own research. To this end, UNESCO will make use of the Youth as Researchers methodology.
