N° du projet 2210262071

A skilled and gender-balanced capacity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is key for advancing science for sustainable development. This activity will strengthen the capacity of national education system in Namibia to advance STEM and basic sciences and will strengthen the uptake of STEM through targeted, teacher training, hands-on experiments, and science education outreach. The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the need for countries to embrace digital transformation and increasing the demand for STEM skills. Synergies will be built with existing initiatives in STI and related areas including the CODEMAO-UNESCO Youth Coding Initiative interventions.
