Project ID 422ARG0005

In 1973 Victoria Ocampo donated Villa Ocampo to UNESCO, this donation was motivated by the many coincidences between Victoria Ocampo's values and those of the Organization: the role of Culture as a factor of development and social inclusion; promotion of cultural diversity and women's rights; tolerance and opening up to other people's ideas and beliefs. Currently, the Observatory UNESCO Villa Ocampo has set itself the task of attracting, coordinating and disseminating the work of knowledge-producing centers with a view on cultural diversity, creativity and heritage with an intersectorial approach.
