Project ID 665GLO2000

The UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme aims to assess, monitor and report on freshwater issues to provide responses, develop case studies, enhance assessment capacity at a national and regional level and inform the decision-making processes. WWAP makes available to decision-makers, inside and outside the water box, data, indicators, background information and projections about the state, use and management of water resources. This will be accomplished through: the production of the annual WWDRs, research and projects on water assessments, water and gender, and emerging fields.
