Project ID 2210213021

Exacerbated by the rapid urbanization driven by population growth, coupled with climate change and environmental degradation, the Arab region has been increasingly affected by Natural Hazards including floods, droughts, sand storms, and landslides. Anticipation skills through raising awareness about these hazards, their potential risks and losses are necessary to ensure risk reduction in all sectors. The workplan will build on joint activities via established partnerships with regional organizations and specialized groups of policy-makers, scientists and researchers, women and youth, people with disabilities and the private sector to build socio-ecological systems resilience to save lives and properties of people in the Arab region.
