Project ID 2210214083

Given the rich bio-and geodiversity of Central Asia region, as well as heavy dependency of countries on mineral resources, and the diminishing expertise in geosciences, this activity will strengthen capacities of the MS in managing their natural resources based on sound scientific evidence. It will contribute to advancing knowledge transfer by scientific community to policy makers, and communities on bio/geodiversity promotion, with involvement of youth as actors of change and tapping on MAB and IGGP programme principles. Cooperative networks will be strengthened and new ones established, to serve as platforms for knowledge and experience sharing among various stakeholder groups, that will strive for resilient and green societies in the counties of the region, and incl at the TB levels
