In line with the Regional Office for Southern Africa (ROSA) Draft Resource Mobilization Plan (2022-2025) and the UNESCO support for the implementation Road map for the Addis Convention on Higher Education, UNESCO ROSA seeks to implement a 3 million dollars project in the Southern Africa region on "supporting women's participation in higher education in Southern Africa: building sustainable and equitable higher education system". The intention is to engage a group of experts in higher education to gather data, conduct analysis and identify key root causes through case studies and broad consultation. This project will be implemented by the ED unit in ROSA, with participation of the SC unit and the IESALC team in Caracas, and in close coordination with the Nairobi Office.
