Support will be provided to the five countries of the San Jose Cluster Office for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention and the 2011 Recommendation on Historic Urban landscape in line with the Action Plan for World Heritage in Mexico and Central America 2018-2023. More specifically awareness-raising, capacity-building and policy support activities related to site management, sustainable tourism, climate change and disaster reduction, will be carried out with a specific attention to the sites inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger. To this end, action will be pursed at both national and subregional level based on the partnership with CECC-SICA.
