This activity aims to strengthen the capacity of targeted West African countries to protect tangible and intangible cultural heritage that are threatened with destruction due to conflict situations and disaster conditions. World natural and cultural heritage sites are under constant threat of destruction by conflicts and desertification across the West African sub-region. This activity will build the capacity of the target countries to protect cultural and natural sites threatened by conflict.
