This activity aimed to improve environment for freedom of expression and media pluralism in Central Asia, by support Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to achieve strengthened capacities and raised awareness to enhance norms and policies related to freedom of expression, press freedom, safety of journalists, including women journalists, and the right to access information, online and offline. Support will be given particularly to policies related to capacity building, awareness-raising, law reform, technical advice, monitoring and rule of law enhancement.
