This project aims at enhancing awareness and providing basic skills on the management and safeguarding of cultural heritage sites to communities in districts of the South Region of Afghanistan. By ways of acquiring basic training, target communities will be involved in cleaning, maintaining, and safeguarding cultural heritage sites - including traditional water management systems - through cash-based incentives, and using it as leverage for economic recovery and social cohesion.
